Is Drug Addiction Easier to Treat than Alcoholism?
While many people still try and define addicts as different than alcoholics, the fact of the matter is that the definition of addiction or alcoholism is almost identical. The effects caused due to alcohol and drug consumption remain the same. The major difference between these two is that the alcohol is in the liquid form and the drug can be taken in any kind of form. Drug Addiction Treatment versus Alcohol Treatment.
Since the medical profession has come to see drug addiction and alcoholism as primarily the same disease, there is little difference in addiction or alcohol treatment.
